Melissani Lake
Take a boat ride through the magical Melissani Lake, a natural underground lake cave.
Guide Story: “Legend has it that this lake was the home of the nymph Melissani, who fell in love with the god Pan. The sunlight streaming through the cave’s opening creates an otherworldly blue glow—it’s no wonder this was named one of Europe’s most beautiful places by Condé Nast Traveler.”
Antisamos Beach
Arrive at Antisamos Beach, a stunning pebble beach surrounded by lush green slopes. Spend 2–3 hours swimming, snorkeling, or simply relaxing at one of the beach bars.
Guide Story: “This beach became famous after being featured in Captain Corelli’s Mandolin. Its turquoise waters and vibrant atmosphere make it a must-visit spot on the island.”
Myrtos Beach
Capture breathtaking views of Myrtos Beach and the picturesque Assos Peninsula. Enjoy the most stunning view of the beach, known for the contrast of the white pebble and the shades of blue that the waves create in the sea with the dark green of the area.
Assos Village
Just north of the stunning Myrtos beach lays the tiny and secluded village of Assos, which is one of the most beautiful and picturesque villages of the island. Built amphitheatrically around the homonymous peninsula, it is surrounded by luscious green scenery and verdant forests. Pine and cypress trees and the crystal clear blue waters of the Ionian Sea, create a unique combination and make Assos an ideal setting for relaxing vacations.
Fiscardo Village
A former fishing village that has transformed into a high status cosmopolitan resort.
Fiskardo was left virtually unscathed by the 1953 earthquake and still carries the traditional colour, the grace and the beauty of the island. A stroll around the narrow alleys will make you feel like a time traveler, rolling a century back. The traditional port promenade is brimming with fine restaurants, bars and taverns to satisfy everyone’s palate, cafes and souvenir shops, housed in renovated pre-earthquake Venetian style mansions.
Argostoli
Argostoli is the biggest town and the capital of Kefalonia. The harbor is always a bustling and picturesque scene, especially at sunrise when the fishing boats are all coming in with their fresh catch. The promenade is a beautiful way to enjoy a waterfront stroll at any time of day as well. Sometimes you can even spot sea turtles in the waves here or near the fishing boats.
Return to Your Location
Conclude your tour with a comfortable drive back to your hotel, villa, or port, filled with unforgettable memories of Kefalonia.
